Shidou Puts Every Coding Agent on One Timeline
A native desktop app that drives local coding-agent CLIs and combines their sessions, transcripts, tool activity, and checkpoints.
Field notes
Shidou connects several named coding-agent interfaces—including stream-json and JSON-RPC—to a provider-neutral session timeline. Its rewind model stores each prompt's working-tree state under a hidden Git reference, pairing code rollback with the corresponding provider conversation. The page also describes keyboard-first controls for queuing, steering, and stopping agent work, plus local storage for projects, sessions, transcripts, and provider IDs. Downloads and GPL-licensed source code are linked directly from the homepage.
