The app accepts Google Maps Timeline.json exports and exposes controls for date range, accuracy filtering, GPS outliers, camera movement, duration, aspect ratio, resolution, and frame rate. It parses the file on the device and states that the original location data is not uploaded; loading maps instead sends tile coordinates for the selected journey to CARTO, which may reveal places in the timeline. Sample-journey and demo paths are available for testing.
