Aestryn’s proposed archive treats distance as a time axis: separate observers would receive the same terrestrial event at different delays, then preserve those measurements with location, band, provenance, and confidence metadata. The page’s example runs from an immediate visible signal through a 3.2-day delayed near-infrared record, but labels the distributed capture illustrative and not deployed. Its roadmap places imaging and synchronization before any attempt at arbitrary historical retrieval, whose stated test is beating the ordinary light-path time.
