Celestrike, where orbital mechanics are the game
A mobile strategy game about running a satellite intelligence company with real Keplerian orbits and permanently limited delta-v.
Field notes
The game models satellites through classical orbital elements and converts burns between elements, state vectors, and delta-v changes. Its three orbital regimes divide responsibilities rather than forming a conventional progression ladder: LEO handles imaging, MEO supplies broad coverage, and GEO supports persistent communications and signals work. Ground sites are generated deterministically from country names, while intelligence accrues from orbital footprint coverage even when the player is away.
