Culurgirasole, Pasta as a Traveling Language
Angelica Vidili makes handmade Sardinian culurgiones and uses them for cooking classes, private events, and collaborations.
Field notes
Culurgirasole began in 2021 as a narrative project about contemporary Sardinia, using handmade culurgiones as its medium. Angelica Vidili explicitly separates her creations from the traditional Ogliastra IGP form, allowing different ingredients and interpretations while foregrounding selected grain and Sardinian produce. The site presents three participation routes—cooking classes, private events, and collaborations—and includes a small recipe-reveal interaction titled La Spighitta.
