Heavy Arts Turns Excavator Parts Into Sculptural Tables
A Warsaw collectible-design studio transforms reclaimed construction-machine steel into numbered coffee, dining, and console tables.
Field notes
The studio works with construction-machine components such as track segments, idlers, hydraulic cylinders, boom sections, and dozer ripper shanks, retaining their industrial marks while adding sealed finishes and glass tops. Its stated workflow runs from source assessment through corrosion removal, structural stabilisation, finishing, numbering, and a certificate of transformation. Five selected pieces are shown from a sixteen-object collection, with dimensions, material parts, glass types, and edition status recorded for each.
