IGL is an open-source language and runtime that puts identity, permissions, governed model decoding, and verifiable session records inside computation.

The system describes identity as the first operand in its language: programs declare who is acting, what that actor may do, and why before execution begins. Its records combine append-only SHA-256 journaling with signed receipts and Merkle inclusion proofs, allowing an auditor to check one event without exposing the whole session. The page also identifies two graph types—company boundaries and personal footprints—and shows a sample receipt containing 42 journal entries.
