Kana Lens uses a browser-level capture flow rather than requiring learners to copy text into a separate study app. A Command-Shift-K shortcut reads Japanese from screen content, including images, subtitles, and PDFs, and saved entries retain the sentence in which they appeared. Its review model mixes recognition with meaning-to-kanji recall and shows per-kanji seen-versus-recalled counts.
