LibreTracks Gives Live Shows Their Own Playback Desk
LibreTracks is free, open-source software for arranging and performing multitrack live shows from prepared stems.
Field notes
The project separates production from performance: finished WAV stems enter a song-based session, then appear in both a DAW-like timeline and a Compact View designed for rehearsal and triggering. Operators can place markers for musical jumps, route click and cue material independently, and use MIDI or a phone/tablet remote during the set. The homepage states support for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android, while documentation links cover concepts and comparisons with other playback tools.
