Open Certificate Standard
An open JSON format for gas, electrical, and fire-safety certificates that lets software check completeness and verify what was issued.
Field notes
The standard models a certificate as a canonical JSON record containing the property, landlord, engineer, date, and findings, then derives a fingerprint from that normalized data. Its identity therefore survives changes in presentation: the same record can appear as a PDF, web page, or printout. The homepage describes nine test vectors for implementation checking and three conformance levels covering required fields, non-expert use, and later proof of what was issued.
