Roguestorm Beats, the bullet heaven where notes fight back
An upcoming roguelite turns music composition into combat: every level-up adds a note to a live sequencer, and every note becomes an attack.
Field notes
The combat system uses a 16-step bar as both loadout and weapon: a player places notes across seven channels while a playhead triggers them during the fight. The page specifies spacing constraints, including a two-step kick and a four-step bass, and describes rests as enemies, with longer silences serving as bosses. It also lists a composing mode with kit, chords, key, tempo, and swing controls, plus cosmetic avatars purchased with in-game fans rather than gameplay power.
