Rotelyx uses invitation codes and a one-time safety-number comparison instead of account registration or contact discovery. Its stated transport design relays calls to conceal network addresses, while offline delivery uses sealed, padded 1 KiB envelopes under rotating tags. The page also gives concrete voice parameters—20 ms frames, 960 samples, and 60 bytes on the wire at 24 kbit/s—and distinguishes its approach from Signal, SimpleX, and Briar.
