The app combines capture and post-processing in one canvas rather than treating annotation as a separate step. Its workflow includes persistent annotation tools, several redaction modes, and layouts for arranging multiple images as grids, rows, columns, or before-and-after comparisons. The page also lists native device frames, four export formats, resolution up to 4×, and a .shotshot project format with recovery copies written after edits. Version 0.1.0 supports macOS 13 or later on both Apple silicon and Intel.
