The workflow accepts Google Timeline exports in JSON form, applies optional date selection and conservative GPS cleanup, then renders portrait, square, or landscape video in the browser. Its privacy controls include endpoint redaction radii from 250 metres to 2 kilometres, although the page notes that the first and last recorded points remain in the working route when the feature is disabled. Map tiles are not loaded until the user acknowledges that CARTO receives tile coordinates and ordinary network details.
