Bong-uri: Making a Summit Earn Its Record

The service records a hike before the summit, then accepts only a photograph taken through its in-app camera and compares it with movement, altitude, coordinates, ascent, and photo-timing signals. Its progression system combines total climbs with distinct mountains, cumulative elevation, and completion of the 100 Famous Mountains list. Group participation also has a physical-presence requirement: members must check in within 300 metres of the stated meeting point.
