CalAround Turns a Photograph into a Reviewed Calendar Sync

An iPhone app reads a photographed Outlook calendar, shows each proposed change, and syncs approved events to a separate work calendar.

Landing page captured for the 2026-08-27 issue.

Field notes

CalAround processes one or more photographs of a calendar grid, merging overlapping captures and reporting the date span it can actually see. Its review screen separates added, changed, and removed events, places uncertain readings beside the relevant image region, and lets users correct or reject individual rows. Approved changes go to a dedicated Work (Scanned) calendar, while pinned events and the visible-photo boundary limit future scans. The page says every sync stores an inverse for later undo.
