Desacorde uses temporary public rooms rather than persistent servers: the room, its last 200 chat messages, and uploaded files remain in memory until the final participant leaves. Voice and screen sharing use a browser-to-browser WebRTC mesh, while a TURN relay handles failed direct connections. The homepage specifies a 10 MB file limit, a synchronized YouTube music queue, and an AGPL-3.0 license. It also exposes release and host-restart information as part of the project’s transparency model.
