envit gives coding agents a shared, pinned view of their surroundings
A declarative tool that installs repository context and selected agent skills from a single envit.json file.
Field notes
envit records repository sources and selected skills in envit.json, while envit.lock.json preserves the commits used for frozen synchronization. Its machine-wide store keeps one read-only checkout per repository commit and lets multiple projects share it through links. The homepage shows integrations with .agents/skills/, .claude/skills/, AGENTS.md, and CLAUDE.md, plus an opt-out setting named agentsMd. An example run reports five repositories, 45 skills, and 151.4 MB added to the store.
