Cursor uses a sender-and-receiver model rather than a hosted upload: one device shares a code or endpoint, the other previews the folder manifest and approves the request. The page specifies 1 MiB transfer chunks, byte-level resume behavior, and a 60-second approval window. It also describes a photos-and-videos viewer and a tailnet mode for reaching a device beyond the local network, while the actual desktop engine appears to be required for operation.
