kdelta: a Kubernetes upgrade-impact analyzer
An open-source tool that traces what is deployed in a Kubernetes cluster, what changed upstream, and what an upgrade might break.
Field notes
The project packages a CLI, ConnectRPC server, and embedded web interface in one binary or container. Its workflow separates deterministic version enumeration from model-assisted release-note structuring and impact assessment, with cached outputs passed between stages. The homepage says Helm release storage is the current detector and that more detectors are planned. For safety, the impact agent uses an allowlisted cluster view: Secrets cannot be listed and environment values are redacted.
