The project organizes correspondence around shared life circumstances rather than attraction, photos, or conventional profiles. The page currently shows eleven possible chapters, from building a company alone to the first year after loss, and invites visitors to propose another. Its stated sequence is deliberately human-mediated: applications are read, pairs are made, and each person is told why the match was chosen before deciding whether to pay the one-time $39 fee.
