Field notes

The app records download, upload, and ping in the places where people actually use the network, then associates those readings with rooms in a reconstructed home model. A photographed or PDF floor plan provides an alternative to camera scanning and does not require LiDAR. The page’s example makes the scoring concrete: a living room reaches 480 Mbps and scores 98, while an office drops to 8 Mbps and scores 31; reports can be exported as PDF or CSV.
