Skiplink turns accessibility failures into dated evidence

A browser-based WCAG 2.1 AA auditor that scans pages, measures failures against their thresholds, and keeps a weekly record of what changed.

Landing page captured for the 2026-08-27 issue.

Field notes

The public workflow accepts a page address, runs a roughly 30-second check, and keeps the scan in the browser according to the page. Findings are paired with thresholds rather than reported as unexplained scores: one example shows 1.9:1 contrast against a required 4.5:1, while another records an 18×18-pixel target against a 24-pixel requirement. The planned extension would add weekly watching and dated evidence, but the page says it is not yet in the Chrome Web Store.
