The site distinguishes a captured “moment” from a named change: moments are content-addressed working-tree states with stable IDs and timestamps, while changes are created with sdt save. Configured checks run in a throwaway copy-on-write clone so the working tree is not touched. Its proposed verdict model grades independence, relevance, and discrimination, and its advertised git interop moves history, branches, and tags in both directions.
