The World’s Worst Pet
An interactive animal-learning game where children assemble a hilariously unsuitable pet and learn about its group, diet, and behaviour.
Field notes
The activity uses a six-step sequence to combine animal classification with deliberately bad pet-making: players select an animal, generate a name, identify its diet, choose a food, assign three behaviours, and reveal a disaster. Its output is a pet card containing the selected facts and a five-point Pet Expert Score. A final speaking challenge asks the player to explain why the animal would be difficult to keep, suggesting classroom or paired use beyond the game’s joke.
