BeeboTV uses a home computer as the media server: users point it at folders, then browse the resulting library with posters, cast information, and details. Its car workflow is deliberately restrictive: the display becomes available after two minutes in Park, mirroring pauses when the car leaves Park, and a restart is required before trying again. Passenger devices can join by scanning a QR code, while an adjustable -250 to +250 ms buffer is provided for audio alignment.
