Freiload Wants You to Prove the Copy Before You Delete the Photos
An Android-to-computer photo transfer tool that verifies copied files locally before optionally moving the originals to phone trash.
Field notes
Freiload uses a two-part setup: an Android companion sends selected photos to a computer hub, which writes them into a folder chosen by the user. Pairing can happen through a same-network QR scan or USB, with fingerprint matching on both screens. Before deletion is proposed, the hub checks file size and SHA-256, then records copied, skipped, failed, and trash-status results in a receipt. The page lists Android 11+ and Windows 10/11 support at version 0.1.0; macOS is marked as coming soon.
