The site combines several public data streams rather than presenting a single forecast: buoy 45012 supplies water-temperature and wave information, NOAA CO-OPS supplies a 30-day level trend on the IGLD85 datum, and NWS Buffalo supplies open-lake forecast material. Its marine method notes that api.weather.gov lacks a direct marine-zone endpoint, so wind and weather use the nearest onshore grid forecast. The project identifies itself as independently built and maintained by one person.
