Sella, the cephalogram game
A free browser game that teaches orthodontic cephalometric tracing by having players place landmarks, identify angles, and diagnose patterns.
Field notes
The exercises cover both isolated recognition and complete analysis: learners can name a circled landmark, place all 26 points, read an angle, or call a skeletal pattern before checking the numbers. Scoring uses landmark-specific tolerances derived from orthodontists’ disagreements, including more forgiveness for Porion than Nasion. A seven-unit course and handle-based leaderboards add progression and repeat-practice structure.
