The browser experience lets a visitor enter a birthdate locally and inspect the resulting grid before downloading the Windows application. The desktop version is described as using a standard scheduled task at login and each Monday at 08:00, rather than a continuously running process. Its framing draws on Oliver Burkeman’s Four Thousand Weeks and gives concrete comparisons—such as remaining Saturdays or summers—to make the abstract grid legible.
