TabEdit, the table editor that refuses to guess
A browser-based editor for TSV, CSV, JSON, Excel, and translation files that keeps messy cells visible and files local.
Field notes
TabEdit presents a shared grid for TSV, CSV, JSON arrays, Excel workbooks, and localization tables rather than forcing conversions through a spreadsheet application. Its inspection layer calls out trailing spaces, zero-width joiners, misplaced separators, and ragged rows, while translation columns can be filtered for missing entries. The page reports that a 50,000-row, 3.6 MB file parses in under a tenth of a second, and says untouched exports preserve quoting, byte-order marks, and line endings.
