ARKNAS, with a paper backup plan
A self-hosted recovery system that combines encrypted blob storage, paper key recovery, hardware authorization, and offline NAS snapshots.
Field notes
ARKNAS separates a public service layer from the recovery material it is meant to protect. The page specifies that cloud storage and third-party mirrors hold ciphertext only, while an ArkSheet and valid ARKROOT-A/B copies remain sufficient for recovery. Its public node currently presents a read-only draft blob service, health information, and signed BP1 update metadata; the extract does not show a completed end-to-end recovery test.
