No-Rings: Twenty Minutes, No Chat
A BYU and Provo service that arranges brief, public conversations between two people without photos, texting, or pre-meeting numbers.
Field notes
Participants choose availability and public meeting locations from a map, then receive a jointly offered time without seeing the other person’s answer. Confirmation happens by tap: an unanswered or negative response cancels the meeting, while mutual approval the next morning releases phone numbers. The service limits meetings to twenty minutes, avoids Sundays and academic breaks, and says a surname is withheld until a second meeting. Its question system includes member proposals, ballots, and reasons for removal.
