Copse Keeps the Coding Agent on Your Machine
Copse is a desktop AI coding workspace that connects directly to cloud providers, local models, and installed coding agents.
Field notes
Copse routes requests directly from the desktop to a chosen cloud provider, local endpoint, or installed coding agent, with no Copse server positioned between the user and that route. Its project sandbox can require approval for boundary crossings, while commands, diffs, subagent activity, failures, and permission decisions remain inspectable. Threads can carry recordings, video, zip archives, and other attachments, then be exported as portable transcript files or complete thread folders.
