The project teaches research literacy through participation rather than presentation. Its signature exercise uses two teas, real consent forms, a blind tasting, random selection, and a voluntary walkout to make consent and withdrawal tangible. Other formats include forum theatre, where participants can stop and replay a consent conversation, and anonymous question cards whose answers are published. Counted Health says it works across eight starting languages and uses trusted local settings, including places of worship, salons, and community radio.
