The validator accepts CWR 2.1 and 2.2 fixed-width files, then separates hard errors from warnings such as mismatched shares, unknown record types, and nonstandard filenames. Its companion generator takes a single JSON catalog and handles prefixes, sequence numbers, and control totals before producing a file for validation. The page states a limit of 20 uploads at 10 MB each—roughly 12,000 songs per file—and identifies CISAC field tables as the checking reference.
