The proposed workflow begins with a one-time shelf scan and a QR code assigned to each shelf. Shoppers use a touchscreen and do not need an app or account; the robot combines the resulting shelf map with floor markers to plan a route, indicate the destination on screen, and dock again. The page presents navigation, scanning, and interface work as separate components and identifies an end-to-end laboratory demonstration as the next milestone.
