The co-op commits grain before planting, stores it as berries, and sends a few hundred pounds to the mill at intervals rather than keeping finished flour on hand. Shares range from a small weekend-baking allotment to split arrangements shared by several houses, including one option suited to someone baking for sale. Members divide the work as well as the grain: hauling, bagging, weighing, table duty, and transparent bookkeeping.
