ElderGuardian: When Silence Is the Signal
An Apple Watch companion that watches an older relative's falls, heart-rate changes, and missing readings, then alerts family members.
Field notes
The proposed workflow separates the wearer from the family-facing interpretation: the older person only puts on the watch, while invited relatives receive summaries and alerts. Falls and extreme heart rates are described as immediate signals; the resting-variability comparison waits for roughly forty readings over at least a day. The site also says missing readings trigger notice, and that summaries are generated on-device rather than sent to an AI service.
