PairVault, a vault for the stickers smart homes forget

pairvault.app Observed source
Editorial interest 81/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

An iPhone and iPad app for storing smart-home setup codes and rebuilding them as scannable QR codes when an accessory needs pairing again.

Landing page captured for the 2026-08-29 issue.

Field notes

PairVault accepts a setup code by QR scan or manual entry, preserves the printed representation, and can regenerate a scannable QR when re-pairing is needed. Apple Home metadata can be imported, but the page says setup codes themselves must be added once by hand because Apple Home does not share them with third-party apps. Records can be exported to PDF, spreadsheets, Markdown, or JSON, while device sync uses the user’s iCloud.
