DebGen, a Debian Sources List Workbench
A four-step tool for selecting Debian releases, architectures, components, and third-party repositories before exporting signed APT configuration.
Field notes
The workbench separates operating-system choices from vendor-repository selection, then inserts a review stage before export. Repository rows expose package names, categories, operators, and compatibility labels; the visible catalogue reports 98 entries and spans areas from .NET and Java runtimes to CouchDB, VPNs, browsers, and observability. With no third-party selection, the export still produces Debian base deb822 content for trixie/amd64, including Signed-By paths and a save-then-inspect retrieval command.
