Feux DZ layers several observation and modelling sources rather than treating them as interchangeable: NASA FIRMS and EFFIS provide satellite-derived material, while wind, air quality, smoke travel, and rainfall involve model estimates or delayed products. Detection groupings use DBSCAN with a 4 km radius, and the search covers 1,368 communes and 69 wilayas in Latin or Arabic. Official Protection civile counts are presented separately because they record interventions, not the same thing as thermal anomalies.
