Groundwork: the address before the check
A property due-diligence field book that layers public records, maps, flood data, soils, slope, zoning, and site-fit sketches onto an address.
Field notes
Groundwork begins with a live geocode and assembles returned layers from sources named on the page, including FEMA flood, USGS slope, NRCS soils, EPA hazards, municipal zoning, and HUD rent bands. Its fit sketch accepts survey dimensions and setback inputs, but labels the resulting rectangle as an assumption rather than a survey. The interface also separates returned findings, absent mapped flags, and items requiring verification, while stating that recent pins remain on the user's device.
