月謝帳: The Ledger for Quitting Gyms, Salons, and Clinics
A Japanese consumer-contract journal about recurring payments, cancellation rules, cooling-off periods, and the paperwork that follows quitting.
Field notes
The project treats cancellation as a sequence rather than a single action, separating the decision to quit from the payment-stop date and distinguishing suspension from an ended contract. Its numerical scope is deliberately narrow: the homepage names an eight-day cooling-off period, statutory cancellation figures of 20,000 and 50,000 yen, and the consumer hotline 188. It also omits personal spending totals and merchant names because the author says they cannot be supported by documents or used for fair evaluation.
