Field notes
The project frames archiving as a reciprocal way for residents and participants to see one another, rather than simply as preservation. Its origin story centers on a 3FA research group formed by architects and designers who visited Longyou in October 2024, then worked with local grandmothers to make a flower curtain and document their accounts of plants, creativity, and ordinary life. The site organizes this material through an exhibition hall, a filterable database, and a village map.
