Milpitas Cyberhacks, a High-School CTF with an AI Problem Set
A one-day Bay Area capture-the-flag competition where high-school teams tackle web exploitation, cryptography, forensics, and two different flavors of AI security.
Field notes
The competition is organized around six tracks, moving from SQL injection, XSS, and authentication bypasses through ciphers, RSA, hashing, packet capture, and steganography. Two tracks explicitly address the AI-security overlap: AI4Sec focuses on using AI/ML to detect and respond, while Sec4AI covers prompt injection, model exploits, and adversarial inputs. The page also specifies four-student teams, a 10 AM–4 PM contest window, and a beginner track with guided challenges and a mentor present.
