Onwords is designed around voice-tracked scrolling rather than a fixed timer: Windows speech recognition identifies a speaker's position in the script and keeps the active line centered. The page says recognition runs locally, without an account, cloud connection, or internet access. It also supports scripts shared by two presenters, tinting each speaker's lines and carrying tracking across handovers; mirror mode is intended for beam-splitter teleprompter glass.
