Pocket Mushaf: a Quran reader with nothing else
A prototype e-ink device dedicated to displaying the Madani mushaf offline, without apps, notifications, internet access, or a clock.
Field notes
The project stores the reading position by surah and ayah, allowing it to survive firmware updates and changes between the listed 1405H and 1421H editions. Its reading interface is intentionally sparse: users choose three, four, or five mushaf lines, navigate with five buttons, and see a progress line containing position details such as juz, surah, and page. The homepage identifies the hardware as a working prototype and points visitors toward firmware testing and a future waitlist.
