ScreenK9 Draws a Smaller, Safer Window for Mac Screen Sharing
A local Mac app that creates a separate audience window containing only approved apps and verified Work Chrome profiles.
Field notes
ScreenK9 builds a distinct Audience View rather than sending the physical display to a meeting application. Users select visible apps and label Chrome profiles as Work or Personal; the page says Personal, unknown, stale, and ambiguous windows remain hidden. The beta is presented as local-only, with no ScreenK9 account or cloud sync, and requires an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 14 or later. Sharing still depends on manually choosing the ScreenK9 window in Zoom, Meet, Teams, Loom, or OBS.
