Shelfglance asks whether ChatGPT can read your Shopify store

Shelfglance evaluates the material an AI crawler can receive from a Shopify storefront without running JavaScript, including robots.txt rules, product schema and server-rendered HTML. The site says it checks twelve named assistant crawlers and reports a median score of 74 across 4,150 scanned stores, while warning that Google AI Overviews remain indistinguishable from ordinary Google referrals. Its Shopify app uses referral data attached to orders rather than customer-identifying information.
